The course covers all the subject areas included in the Transport Administration's knowledge test for taxi: legal rules, business economics, technical standards and road safety. The test consists of four parts, all of which must be passed within six months.

Professional competence for taxi is the competence required to become the transport manager of a company with a taxi licence. You prove your competence by passing the Transport Administration's knowledge test, which is divided into four parts: law, economics, technology and case studies.
Without a pass in all four parts you cannot apply for a taxi licence from the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen). The course prepares you for every part.
Who needs the course?
The course is aimed at you if you are planning to start a taxi business, whether that means a single vehicle or a larger fleet. It suits you if you will be the company's transport manager, normally as managing director or board member.
You need neither industry experience nor previous training. The course starts from the basics and guides you through everything you need to know before the test.
